Am I Proud?

The United States has won wars, demolished slavery and segregation, and yet you still need to ask me if I am proud of my country? Are you truly blind to the obvious answer? Of course I am proud of my country. In this country we can be free, while still upholding relative order compared to the chaos in other parts of the world. Although I do not agree with everything our country has done, no one ever really is. But when you take everything and sum it all up, there is no reason I can see not to be proud
