A flower,
Fallen and deceased,
Actually seemed quite beautiful with its bright yellow petals,
Surrounded by their deep purple trim,
Although dry,
As if the life was literally sucked out of it,
The flower still had a relaxing scent to it,
But alas,
It shall soon meet its end,
Once again becoming part of the earth,
Fertilizing the flowers and other plants,
That will eventually follow in its footsteps,
And continue the circle of life.
This is quite beautiful. You've done well showing that death can be a peaceful and natural experience.
